{Typical Day} October 17, 2014 | Happy 40th Birthday, Daddy!

Today was Daddy’s birthday, so after a long afternoon walk, we settled back in, and (after some mani-pedis which the boys participated in upon Josiah’s request, hehe) we celebrated as a family with some balloons and gift bags full of little items that Adela (with a little help from me) picked out. And Josiah got his bag of goodies from sissy for his birthday a day early too. His favorite item was the card that Adela picked out all on her own. It came with a superman bracelet that plays the theme song. We have a Tinkerbell one that was gifted to Adela that Josiah likes to wear, so this was a replacement. It was an incredibly thoughtful gift for a little girl to pick out for her baby brother. And the best part? Chocolate cake from Leroy’s Sweet Potato shack, picked up at the street fair the night before, some of the best chocolate cake we have EVER had.
