We planted your first garden this summer. We’ve been learning all about growing things, reading books from the library and talking about seeds every time we cut into a tomato or slice an avocado. We watched a Lima bean seed sprout on a paper towel and potted peas, wildflowers and nasturtiums in three different pots. You have diligently watered them every day and have been excited every morning to go outside and see how much they’ve grown. This is one of the easiest projects we’ve done with some of the best results. It’s been a joy to watch you enjoy it so much. It almost makes me want to plant a real garden next year. Almost! 😉 Maybe one of these years…. We’ll just have to find a way to keep the bunnies out of things.
