May 30, 2010 – First time YOU SAID “MaMaMa.” I know it’s not necessarily connected with me at this point, but it might be. You most often make that sound when you’re upset and you want me except then it’s just “MAAAaaaaaaa!” which makes me think you might know it has something to do with me. Even if it doesn’t, it’s pretty cool to hear you say it.
June 6, 2010 – First time DRINKING OUT OF A CUP! You drank some water out of my glass at the Morongo café after I noticed that you were gaping your mouth at it. You loved it! Since then I usually give you a couple swallows of water after every solid food meal (if you seem interested), but I try to limit it to under 1oz per day as per the doctor’s orders. It takes a long time to get you to swallow that much anyway. Half the time you just roll the water around in your mouth, then squirt it out. And you make satisfied little sounds after you do. Cute!
June 10, 2010 – First time I noticed you MAKING “THHHH” and “VVVVV” SOUNDS. Those continue to be your favorite consonant sounds for the moment.
June 11, 2010 First time SITTING for a few seconds WITHOUT ARM SUPPORT. You only topple over now when you reach for something really far away.
June 17, 2010 First time you PLAYED IN THE WALKER, on your own, without crying! Your toes don’t touch the ground yet. See previous post.
June 21, 2010 First time SITTING IN THE HIGH CHAIR. Your Bumbo is starting to get a little scary. You twist and turn yourself around in there so much, I’m afraid to turn my back when you’re in it. So, I’m starting to use the high chair. Even though it’s less convenient, at least I know you can’t pop yourself out of it.
June 20, 2010 – First FATHER’S DAY. You’re one lucky little girl. Your Daddy still spends his mornings with you whenever he doesn’t have to work. He plays with you on your mat, keeping you entertained while you’re on your tummy. He sings you songs, makes you laugh, and feeds you breakfast while Momma gets an extra hour of sleep.

June 23, 2010 First time POOPING IN THE BATHTUB. Unfortunately, this has not been a one-time occurrence. Gross, baby. That’s all I gotta say. Here you are after you did it – in a fresh tub of water of course. I guess you felt better at least!
June 25, 2010 First time PLAYING IN THE PARK. You played in the grass (which you were very intrigued by), swung in a swing (which you were freaked out by) and tasted sand (which you were enthralled by).
June 27, 2010 – First ROLL FROM BACK TO FRONT, at least mostly. You’re arm was still stuck under you but you rolled back and forth several times trying to get your croaking frog that hangs on your baby gym. You do it regularly now, but don’t like to stay there unless you’re actively attempting to procure a tasty toy to gum.
June 29, 2010 – First BABY PEDICURE. Yes, your Mima and I managed to get your toenails painted pink. Oh wow, baby feet are always cute, but these just make me giggle.
Amanda - HAHA pooping in the bathtub!!! I just got peed on in the tub today, but so far no poop, eewww. That picture of her in the swing is SO awesome! I need to take Seth to the park and try that out soon.
