This was a fun session. I’ve known Tanya for a while apart from her family, and it’s one of those things. You can only know a woman with a family so well until you meet her family, and then you know her a little better. And I like her even more now getting to see how she is as a wife and mother, as part of the unit that makes up this threesome.
Jada was a doll. I can’t remember the last time I saw a smile this great. She is full of life, full of energy and definitely has her own mind. That’s a great combo. She brought along a few of her own things to our session including a little “critter catcher” that we repeatedly “baited” with little bits of foliage for whatever animals might need a home and looking after. We never caught anything (go figure), but it was quite the exciting adventure anyway. We had fun trying. 🙂
Lifestyle family photography never gets old, even when you shoot in the same spot over and over again. Families all have their own story to tell and it’s really fun for me to figure out a way to help them tell a little piece of it in photos, to preserve who they are in this moment so that they always remember 2013.
It’s a beautiful thing.
