Yucca Valley Photographer | We’re Expecting!

We’re super happy and excited to share that we will be welcoming our second baby in October!

I’ll be continuing to shoot on a limited availability basis until September or so (circumstances allowing), and will be going on maternity leave until at least February 1st. Because space for the rest of the year is limited, if you already know you’ll be wanting to book a session for a special event, your yearly family photos, Christmas photos, a new arrival, or any other reason sometime this year, I encourage you not to wait until the last minute to reserve your spot!

 These are some last-minute self-portraits we took during a 15 minutes span of time at a park last month to help us commemorate the big news. It was fun to try and accomplish these type of photos with a tripod and remote and a two-year old. I’ll tell you what, I had to pull out a whole host of tricks to get my little one to look at the camera with no one behind it and actually smile. I was so proud of her. She’s such a good girl! And of course, I’m not opposed to using a little sweet bribery. 🙂
