Here at DelaLane Photography our family sessions focus on FUN! We’ll go somewhere pretty or somewhere interesting or somewhere that means something to you. Wherever we go and whatever we do, we encourage you to be yourselves, interacting with each other, having a good time, creating those beautiful moments that translate into treasure when they are preserved in the form of forever photographs. We will also direct and pose your family in order to capture some traditional portraits, but we believe the more interaction and fun between family members we have during your session, the better your photographs will be because they will capture more than just what you look like. We will be preserving memories by showcasing your personalities and the relationships that bring meaning to your life.

{Day in the Life Sessions} Family photojournalism in your home.
What does a typical {Day in the Life} of your family look like? What kind of everyday moments are happening right now that you’ll someday miss? These sessions are documentary in nature, 100% activity-based (we’ll come up with a list of 4-6 mini activities), and are focused on capturing everyday activities, your *real* life. We might give baby his first taste of food, let the toddler play in the bathtub, bake cookies with older children, watch the kids play in their rooms, ride bikes on the street in front of your house, or enjoy a family story time on Mom & Dad’s bed. These sessions are for lovers of candid moments, of real life snapshots that will fill a family photo album with memories preserving the current year in your family’s history.
